Zucchini bake with ham and rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Veggies and Basics

01 - 3 zucchinis
02 - 1 onion
03 - 2 garlic cloves
04 - 150g of pre-cooked rice

→ Proteins and Dairy

05 - 200g of ham (cut into cubes)
06 - 200ml of heavy cream
07 - 100g of shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyère)

→ Seasonings

08 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
09 - Salt and pepper
10 - Optional: dried Provence herbs

# Instructions:

01 - Give the zucchinis a wash, then thinly slice them into circles or shred them if you prefer. Peel the onion and garlic, then cut them finely.
02 - Dice up the ham into little cubes.
03 - Heat up the olive oil in a pan and cook the zucchinis, onion, and garlic. Let them soften up and get a slight golden color. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and Provence herbs if you like.
04 - Take a big bowl and mix together the cooked rice, the sautéed zucchini mix, diced ham, and heavy cream. Add seasoning to taste.
05 - Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the mixture in a greased oven dish. Cover the top with shredded cheese. Let it bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until it’s golden and piping hot.

# Notes:

01 - Keeps well for up to 3 days if stored in the fridge.
02 - Can be reheated in the microwave or oven.
