Give the zucchinis a wash, then thinly slice them into circles or shred them if you prefer. Peel the onion and garlic, then cut them finely.

Dice up the ham into little cubes.

Heat up the olive oil in a pan and cook the zucchinis, onion, and garlic. Let them soften up and get a slight golden color. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and Provence herbs if you like.

Take a big bowl and mix together the cooked rice, the sautéed zucchini mix, diced ham, and heavy cream. Add seasoning to taste.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the mixture in a greased oven dish. Cover the top with shredded cheese. Let it bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until it’s golden and piping hot.
