Yogurt Almond Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Mix

01 - 1 container of plain yogurt (125g)
02 - 3 containers of flour (375g)
03 - 2 containers of sugar (250g)
04 - 1 container of almond powder (100g)
05 - 1 container of cooking oil (125ml)
06 - 1 packet of baking powder (11g)
07 - 3 eggs
08 - A pinch of salt

→ Optional Flavors and Garnishes

09 - Citrus zest (lemon or orange)
10 - Flaked almonds

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 180°C. Grease your cake pan and dust it with flour, or line it with baking paper.
02 - In a big mixing bowl, stir together the flour, almond powder, baking powder, and salt.
03 - In a different bowl, whisk the yogurt, sugar, oil, and eggs until everything blends smoothly.
04 - Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ones. Toss in zest if you’re using it.
05 - Pour the batter into your pan and smooth out the top. Sprinkle flaked almonds on top if you feel like it.
06 - Pop the cake in the oven for 30–40 minutes. Stick a knife or skewer in; if it comes out clean, it’s done.

01 - You’ll use the empty yogurt container to measure other ingredients.
02 - You can tweak the sugar amount to match your preference.
