In a microwave, heat butter and marshmallows together, doing 30 seconds at a time. Stir in vanilla and green coloring till the mixture looks smooth.

Fold the cornflakes into the mixture lightly, making sure they’re evenly coated. Use a greased 1/4 cup to form portions. Place on the tray, poke a hole in the middle, and decorate with your red candies.

Leave them out to cool completely, so they firm up nicely.
