01 -
Set the oven at 375°F and line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
02 -
On a floured surface, roll out your dough to a rectangle about 10 by 12 inches.
03 -
Place the dough with one long edge close to you. Add a layer of oil, keeping about an inch of the edges clean.
04 -
Sprinkle the oregano, garlic, romano cheese, and chili flakes over the oiled section.
05 -
Start layering: put provolone cheese first, then ham, mozzarella, and finally the meats.
06 -
Brush the edges of the dough with the beaten egg. Fold the bottom up, fold the top over like you're sealing a letter, and pinch the seams together.
07 -
Flip the dough with the seam facing down onto the tray. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and set aside for an hour.
08 -
Coat the top with egg and cut five tiny slits into the dough for ventilation.
09 -
Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown. Internal temperature should reach 200°F.
10 -
Let it cool for 15-20 minutes. Slice into 1-inch pieces and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
