Spiced Citrus Octopus (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp sesame oil.
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
03 - 1 tbsp soy sauce.
04 - 1 baby octopus (500 g), cleaned.
05 - 1 tsp ginger, chopped.
06 - Zest of one orange.
07 - 1 tbsp sesame seeds.
08 - 1 orange, juiced.
09 - 2 tbsp olive oil.
10 - A handful of fresh herbs for garnish.
11 - A dash of chili flakes (optional).
12 - 300 g broccolini, trimmed.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and orange zest together. Mix in a little sesame oil to amp up the flavor before soaking your octopus in the mix.
02 - Sear the marinated octopus in a hot skillet until they’re just tender. Sprinkle some chili flakes and finish it off with fresh-squeezed orange juice.
03 - Toss broccolini in olive oil along with some sesame seeds. Cook briefly until they’re soft yet still crispy.
04 - Combine the broccolini and octopus, drizzle on a citrus-spiced sauce, and top with a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
