Soft almond apple bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 50g of all-purpose flour
02 - 100g of almond flour
03 - 1/2 packet of baking powder
04 - 100g of granulated sugar
05 - A pinch of salt

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 3 large eggs
07 - 150g of unsweetened applesauce
08 - 100g of melted butter
09 - 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract (optional)

→ Topping

10 - Sliced almonds (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to heat up to 180°C. Grease and lightly flour a loaf pan to prevent sticking.
02 - In a bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.
03 - Grab another bowl and whisk the eggs with the melted butter and applesauce. Mix in the almond extract if you're using it.
04 - Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, folding gently as you go until the batter is smooth and even.
05 - Pour the batter into your prepared pan. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top if you'd like. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick—it should come out clean.
06 - Let the cake cool for a few minutes in the pan. Then take it out and place it on a cooling rack until it's completely cool.

# Notes:

01 - If you want to skip gluten, use rice flour or almond flour instead.
02 - Stores well in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
03 - Tastes amazing warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
