Leek bacon bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 leeks.
02 - 150g smoked bacon bits.
03 - 3 eggs.
04 - 20cl heavy cream.
05 - 100g all-purpose flour.
06 - 150g milk.
07 - 50g grated cheese.
08 - A pinch of nutmeg.
09 - Salt.
10 - Pepper.
11 - Butter to grease the baking dish.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the leeks, boil them for about 5-7 minutes, then drain well.
02 - Cook the bacon pieces until golden, then set them aside.
03 - Stir together eggs, cream, milk, flour, cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
04 - Butter the dish, spread the leeks and bacon evenly, then pour the batter over everything.
05 - Cook at 180°C (about 350°F) for 30-35 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
