Crunchy Bacon Cheddar Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Basic Ingredients

01 - Flour - as required
02 - Soft butter - as needed
03 - Baking powder - 1 tsp
04 - 1 egg
05 - Salt - to taste
06 - Pepper - to taste

→ Toppings

07 - Diced bacon - 100 g
08 - Shredded cheddar - 80 g
09 - Crispy fried onions - 40 g

# Let's Cook:

01 - In a pan over low heat, cook the bacon pieces for about 4 to 5 minutes without any oil.
02 - In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, chunks of butter, egg, salt, pepper, bacon bits, cheddar, and fried onions.
03 - Knead the mixture either by hand or using a dough mixer until the texture becomes smooth and even.
04 - Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then make small dough balls and space them out on the tray (about 14 cookies). Lightly flatten each cookie and, if you’d like, sprinkle a little cheddar on top.
05 - Put the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for 20 minutes.
06 - Let the cookies sit on a cooling rack before enjoying them.
