Beef with Peppers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables and Seasonings

01 - 1 sliced green bell pepper
02 - 1 thinly sliced red bell pepper
03 - 1 sliced onion
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves
05 - 1 teaspoon of grated ginger

→ Meat

06 - 500g of thinly sliced beef steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)

→ Sauce and Seasonings

07 - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
08 - 1 teaspoon of cornstarch
09 - 1/4 cup of beef broth
10 - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
11 - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
12 - Pepper
13 - Salt

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Toss the beef slices into the mixture, coat them well, and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
02 - Heat up a large pan or wok until it’s very hot. Quickly sear the beef in oil for about 1-2 minutes on each side. Set it aside.
03 - Using the same hot pan, stir-fry the onions and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until they have a tender but crispy bite.
04 - Throw in the garlic and ginger, stir them for one minute until they smell fragrant.
05 - Put the beef back into the pan, pour in the broth, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens nicely. Season to taste and serve warm.
