Tasty Grilled Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Croque Base

01 - 150 g of sliced chicken ham
02 - 8 pieces of sandwich bread
03 - 150 g of sliced mozzarella
04 - 50 g of grated Parmesan

→ Toppings and Seasoning

05 - 1 small clove of garlic, chopped finely
06 - 4 pieces of sun-dried tomatoes, minced
07 - A pinch of salt for taste
08 - Pepper to your liking
09 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
10 - 2 tablespoons of pesto sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Take a small bowl and stir pesto, olive oil, and the chopped garlic together. At the same time, preheat your oven to 200°C or get a frying pan ready on medium heat.
02 - Spread the pesto mixture on one side of each slice of bread. Next, on half the slices, lay some chicken ham, pile on the mozzarella slices, then sprinkle on the chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
03 - Take the Parmesan and scatter it evenly over the fillings. Place the remaining slices of bread on top, all with the pesto-coated sides facing inwards to seal everything inside.
04 - Cook each sandwich in a warm pan for 3–4 minutes on both sides until golden brown and the cheese oozes. Alternatively, use the oven and bake them for about 10 minutes until they’re crispy and beautifully browned.
05 - Enjoy your croques straight from the pan while they’re hot. For something extra, serve them with fresh basil or a crisp green salad. Fancy a little more pesto? Use it as a dip!
