Soft Light Marble Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 100g unsweetened applesauce
02 - 50g unrefined sugar
03 - 1 packet of baking powder
04 - 150g whole wheat flour
05 - 3 eggs
06 - 60g dark baking chocolate (64% cocoa)
07 - 90g milk (or almond milk as an alternative)

# Instructions:

01 - Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the yolks together with the sugar until the mixture turns light in color.
02 - Mix the flour, applesauce, milk, and baking powder into the egg and sugar blend. Stir it all until smooth.
03 - Whisk the egg whites until stiff, adding a tiny pinch of salt. Gently fold this into your batter.
04 - Melt the chocolate. Then, blend half of your batter with the melted chocolate to create a chocolate layer.
05 - Pour the plain and chocolate batters alternately into a loaf tin. Steam it for 50 minutes or bake it at 175°C for 35 minutes in the oven.

01 - You can make this using a Thermomix or prepare it traditionally
02 - Wait until it’s completely cooled to remove it from the pan
