Tasty Light Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 800 g of carrots
02 - 1 whole onion
03 - 1 clove of garlic

→ Making the Sauce

04 - 200 ml of light cream
05 - 2 eggs
06 - 50 g of grated cheese (like Gruyère)

→ Seasoning

07 - Salt - to your liking
08 - Pepper - to taste
09 - A pinch of nutmeg

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 180°C and let it preheat.
02 - Peel your carrots and slice them into thin rounds. Steam or boil them until they're nice and soft.
03 - Chop the onion finely and mince the garlic.
04 - In a mixing bowl, whip the eggs together with the light cream. Add in some salt, pepper, and a hint of nutmeg.
05 - Combine the cooked carrots with the onion, garlic, and the egg mixture. Pour the whole mix into a baking dish. Sprinkle grated cheese on top for extra flavor, if you'd like.
06 - Pop the dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
