Grinch Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder.
04 - 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar.
05 - 2 large eggs.
06 - 1/3 cup of butter, softened.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract.
08 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
09 - A few drops of green coloring.
10 - Extra sugar for coating.
11 - Candy hearts.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 375°. Line a tray with cookie paper.
02 - In a bowl, combine salt, baking powder, and flour.
03 - Use a mixer to cream the sugar and butter until fluffy.
04 - Mix in eggs one by one, then stir in the peppermint and vanilla.
05 - Slowly blend the dry mix into the wet ingredients. Just stir until combined.
06 - Add green coloring and work it into the dough until it's evenly green.
07 - Form small balls of dough. Roll each in sugar.
08 - Place dough balls on the tray and press them lightly to flatten.
09 - Pop a heart candy in the center of each cookie.
10 - Put cookies in the oven for about 8 minutes until edges look slightly golden.
11 - Cool them on the tray for 2 minutes. Then, move to a rack to finish cooling.

01 - Stays good for 4-5 days in a sealed container.
