Follow cake mix directions, but also stir in an extra 1/4 cup oil. Bake as written.

Cool cake for about 15 minutes, crumble into tiny pieces in a big bowl.

Mix powdered sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla for 4 minutes until light and fluffy.

Stir 3/4 of the frosting into the crumbled cake. Add the rest if it needs more moisture.
