Cake Pops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 box white cake mix with needed ingredients (oil, eggs, milk).
02 - 1/2 cup butter, softened at room temperature.
03 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil.
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - 3 1/2 cups melted candy or chocolate.
06 - 40 sticks for cake pops.
07 - 1 teaspoon milk.
08 - 1 cup powdered sugar.
09 - 1 small bag of sprinkles for topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Follow cake mix directions, but also stir in an extra 1/4 cup oil. Bake as written.
02 - Cool cake for about 15 minutes, crumble into tiny pieces in a big bowl.
03 - Mix powdered sugar, milk, butter, and vanilla for 4 minutes until light and fluffy.
04 - Stir 3/4 of the frosting into the crumbled cake. Add the rest if it needs more moisture.
05 - Roll mixture into ball shapes. Refrigerate 10 minutes and re-roll to smooth them out.
06 - Pop the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes or into the fridge for 1.5 hours.
07 - Heat chocolate in short 20-second buzzes in the microwave, stirring after every time.
08 - Dip the sticks in chocolate and push one into each ball.
09 - Cover the balls in melted chocolate, shake off the extra, and sprinkle on decorations before it sets.
10 - Place cake pops upright and let the chocolate dry completely.

# Notes:

01 - Try making your own frosting—it’s tastier than store-bought.
02 - Use candy melts instead of plain chocolate for easier coating.
03 - Keep balls cold while working so they don’t fall off the sticks.
