Crispy Potatoes & Bacon (Print Version)

01 - 5 pounds of red potatoes, cut into cubes or thin slices
02 - 1 onion, chopped into small pieces
03 - 6 slices of bacon, diced
04 - 1/2 cup of butter, cut into chunks
05 - Salt for seasoning
06 - Black pepper for flavor

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a casserole dish sized 9x13 inches.
02 - Layer the potatoes evenly at the bottom of the greased dish. Scatter the chopped onion and diced bacon on top, then place the butter chunks across the top. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
03 - Put the dish in the hot oven for around 45 minutes. Once done, take off the foil and mix the potatoes well.
04 - Switch your oven to the broil setting and let the potatoes crisp up for about 5 minutes. Stir them every minute so the browning is even.
05 - Serve straight away while they’re crispy and warm.
