Stir together milk and egg in one dish.
Combine parmesan, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in another plate.

Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg mixture, then press into breadcrumb mix until fully covered.

Put oil in a pan and heat it up. Cook each chicken piece for about 3-4 minutes per side, just enough to lightly brown.

Spread marinara over the bottom of your slow cooker. Lay the browned chicken on top. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours. Sprinkle mozzarella during the last half hour.
