Chicken Parmesan Slow Cooker (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 thin chicken pieces.
02 - 1 large egg.
03 - 1/4 cup whole-fat milk.
04 - 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs.
05 - 1/4 cup grated parmesan.
06 - 1 tsp salt.
07 - 1/2 tsp ground pepper.
08 - 1/4 cup olive oil for cooking.
09 - 1 jar (22 oz) tomato sauce for pasta.
10 - 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together milk and egg in one dish. Combine parmesan, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper in another plate.
02 - Dip each chicken cutlet into the egg mixture, then press into breadcrumb mix until fully covered.
03 - Put oil in a pan and heat it up. Cook each chicken piece for about 3-4 minutes per side, just enough to lightly brown.
04 - Spread marinara over the bottom of your slow cooker. Lay the browned chicken on top. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours. Sprinkle mozzarella during the last half hour.
05 - Enjoy over your favorite kind of pasta.

01 - Browning first makes a crispy crust.
02 - You can swap in whole chicken breasts if you flatten them.
03 - Works with any pasta shape.
04 - No flipping is needed in the slow cooker.
