Broccoli & Ham Savory Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 eggs
02 - 100g of flour
03 - 500ml of milk
04 - Olive oil
05 - Nutmeg
06 - Salt and pepper
07 - 4 slices of plain ham
08 - 1 broccoli
09 - 100g of grated Emmental

# Instructions:

01 - Break the broccoli into florets. Drop them into salted boiling water for about 5 minutes. Quickly cool them down under cold water, then drain thoroughly. Spread evenly in an oiled baking dish.
02 - Chop the ham into bite-sized pieces and toss them into the dish with the broccoli.
03 - Whisk the eggs and gradually stir in the sifted flour. Slowly pour in the milk while mixing. Blend in the grated Emmental, nutmeg, and season with salt and pepper.
04 - Pour the batter over the broccoli and ham. Bake at 210°C (or gas mark 7) for about 40 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Enjoy this warm or let it cool down a little before serving.
02 - The broccoli should stay slightly crisp after cooking.
