Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of crispy fried onion pieces.
02 - 1 pound of shredded pork.
03 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
04 - 1 minced garlic clove.
05 - 1 cup of barbecue sauce.
06 - 8 American cheese slices from the deli.
07 - 1/4 cup of mayo.
08 - 8 brioche bread slices.

# Instructions:

01 - Add olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Toss in the garlic and stir for 30 seconds until it smells great.
02 - Mix the pulled pork with the barbecue sauce in the pan. Heat it until warm, then turn off the heat.
03 - Take a slice of brioche, add a slice of cheese, layer some fried onion, scoop on the hot pork, top with another cheese slice, then sandwich with another bread slice.
04 - Spread mayo on the outside of both sides of the sandwich.
05 - Using a clean pan, warm it over medium-low heat.
06 - Cook each sandwich for 2-3 minutes per side until it’s golden and crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Don’t pack the sandwich too full.
02 - Mayo gives sandwiches a better crisp than butter.
03 - Keeping the heat on medium-low ensures cheese melts nicely.
04 - Perfect way to use up leftover pork.
05 - Pair with fries or a side of coleslaw if you’d like.
06 - Deli-style American cheese melts the best.
