In a big bowl, combine the beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until they're evenly mixed.

Shape the combined meat mixture into a loaf that's about 5 cm thick.

Put the meatloaf into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 177°C and cook for 25 minutes.

In a small bowl, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to make the glaze.

Pause cooking at the 15-minute mark, carefully take out the air fryer basket, and spread the sauce over the top of the loaf.

Continue baking for another 10 minutes. Check that it's done by using a thermometer—the inside should hit 74°C. If it hasn't yet, cook for an extra 5 minutes.

Once the loaf is cooked, take it out of the air fryer. Let it sit untouched for 10 minutes. After that, slice and serve.
