Grated Carrot Salad Vietnamese Style (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 400 g of carrots (preferably with tops).
02 - 3 tsp of fish sauce (nuoc-mâm).
03 - 2 tbsp of lime juice.
04 - 3 tsp of sugar.
05 - 1 tbsp of water.
06 - 1 minced clove of garlic.
07 - A pinch of chili powder.
08 - 10 crushed coriander seeds.
09 - Chopped peanuts (for garnish).

# Instructions:

01 - Peel, wash, and shred the carrots using a medium grater.
02 - In a large bowl, mix together the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar, water, garlic, chili powder, and crushed coriander seeds.
03 - Add the grated carrots to the bowl and stir thoroughly so everything is coated. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.
04 - Sprinkle chopped peanuts over the dish just before serving. Enjoy it nice and cold!

# Notes:

01 - Best enjoyed when served cold.
02 - The peanuts should be added at the very end.
