Turn on the oven to 175°C (350°F). Line up a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with parchment and grease it up.

Take a bowl and mix salt, baking powder, and flour until well blended.

In a bigger bowl, whip the butter with the sugar until it's fluffy and pale.

Crack in the eggs one by one, mixing after each. Pour in the vanilla and stir.

Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the creamy butter mix, then pour in the milk little by little. Stir until smooth.

Pour the batter into your prepped dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake the cake for around 30-35 minutes. It’s done if a toothpick in the middle comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool completely before cutting it into even squares.

Whip the butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar while mixing well. Add the cream and vanilla, then beat until fluffy. Stir in the pink food color till the shade suits you.
