Thai-Style Tasty Fried Rice (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Protein

01 - 2 whole organic chicken thighs
02 - 1 egg

→ Base and Side

03 - 2 bowls of cold basmati rice
04 - 1 green onion
05 - 1 fresh shallot
06 - 1 cm piece of fresh ginger

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon of nuoc mam (fish sauce)
09 - 1 tablespoon of Maggi sauce
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
11 - Sunflower oil for cooking

# Instructions:

01 - Chop the ginger finely. Bone the chicken thighs and cut them into small cubes. Slice the shallot thin.
02 - Heat sunflower oil in a pan or wok on high. Toss in the chopped ginger first, then add the chicken and shallot. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the chicken starts browning.
03 - Throw in the cold rice. Stir and season with soy sauce, nuoc mam, and sugar. Let it fry for another 2–3 minutes.
04 - Add the egg and stir it well. Let it sit for 5 minutes so the rice separates nicely.
05 - Sprinkle green onions on top and serve right away.
