Cheesesteak Taco Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fries

01 - 1 pack of frozen waffle fries

→ Toppings

02 - 2 cups of shredded cheddar-jack cheese
03 - 1/2 cup diced green onions
04 - 1 lb ground beef
05 - 1 tomato, chopped
06 - 1 packet of taco seasoning mix
07 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 450°F (230°C) and let it preheat.
02 - Spread the waffle fries on a tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping once halfway, until crispy.
03 - While the fries bake, heat a pan over medium-high heat. Break up the ground beef and toss in the chopped onion. Stir and cook until the beef is browned and the onion softens. Remove any extra grease.
04 - Turn the heat down to low, sprinkle in the taco seasoning, and stir it all together. Let it cook for a few minutes to blend the flavors.
05 - Once the fries are ready, pile the beef mix over them. Follow it up with a generous sprinkle of shredded cheddar-jack cheese.
06 - Pop the fries back into the oven for 5-10 minutes, just enough time for the cheese to melt nicely.
07 - After taking it out of the oven, scatter chopped green onions and diced tomatoes on top. Serve right away!
