Sweet Spicy Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 1.5 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken thighs or breast

→ Sauce

02 - 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
03 - A quarter cup of honey
04 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons of water
05 - 2 to 3 tablespoons of Sriracha
06 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
07 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
08 - 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

→ Garnish

10 - Green onions, chopped
11 - Sesame seeds

# Instructions:

01 - Season the chicken with salt and a sprinkle of pepper, then pat it dry.
02 - In a bowl, blend soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, Sriracha, garlic, and vinegar.
03 - Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook chicken on each side for 4-5 minutes until browned and the middle reaches 165°F.
04 - Let the sauce simmer in the pan. Stir in the cornstarch mixture for a thicker consistency. Add the chicken back and toss it in the sauce.
05 - Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over the top before serving.

01 - Use more or less Sriracha depending on how spicy you want it to taste.
