Comforting creamy mash (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Mashed Base

01 - 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
02 - 1 cup of cooked chestnuts
03 - 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (or plant-based substitute)
04 - Half a cup of vegetable broth
05 - Salt - to taste
06 - Pepper - to your liking

# Instructions:

01 - Put the sweet potato cubes into a big pot filled with salted water. Bring it to a boil, then cook them for 15-20 minutes, or until soft.
02 - Drain the cooked sweet potatoes and place them back in the pot. Use a masher or immersion blender to mash them until smooth.
03 - If needed, roughly chop the pre-cooked chestnuts. Toss them into the mashed potatoes and stir well.
04 - Mix in the vegetable broth and butter. Add salt and pepper based on your taste. Keep stirring until the texture turns to how you like it.
05 - Taste it and adjust the seasoning as needed. Serve it warm and enjoy!
