Strawberry Shortcake Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - Unsalted butter
02 - Rich heavy cream (36% fat)
03 - Ripe strawberries

→ Sugar Options

04 - Powdered sugar (for cream)
05 - White granulated sugar (for berries)

→ Shortbread Foundation

06 - Pure vanilla extract
07 - Salt
08 - Baking powder
09 - All-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - Stir dry ingredients, blend in chilled butter. Pour in vanilla and cream until it all comes together.
02 - Flatten dough to an inch, cut rounds. Bake until toasty golden, about 12–15 minutes.
03 - Toss strawberries with sugar so they’re juicy. Whip cream with a little powdered sugar and vanilla.
04 - Slice shortcakes in half, stack berries and cream in the middle and on top.

# Notes:

01 - If fresh strawberries aren’t handy, frozen ones work too.
02 - Honey or coconut sugar can stand in for regular sugar.
03 - Best eaten right after prepping.
