Strawberry Pastry Hearts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - Caster sugar for dusting
02 - 4 tbsp plant-based milk
03 - 1-2 sheets gluten-free and vegan puff pastry

→ Filling

04 - Fresh strawberries
05 - 15g granulated sugar
06 - 15g all-purpose or gluten-free flour
07 - 130g non-dairy cream cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to fan 180°C. Get 2 baking trays ready and cover them with parchment.
02 - Roll out the pastry, fix any folds, cut heart shapes, and press smaller hearts inside the centers.
03 - Combine non-dairy cream cheese, sugar, and flour in a bowl until creamy, then move it to a piping bag.
04 - Fill pastry hearts with the cream cheese mix, add strawberry slices, brush edges with plant milk, and sprinkle with sugar.
05 - Bake until golden and crisp for 10–15 minutes. Let cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.

# Notes:

01 - Keep leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge.
02 - They’re best enjoyed within 48 hours.
03 - Bring to room temperature before serving.
