01 -
Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and get a cookie sheet ready with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
02 -
Pick out the green, purple, and orange M&M's, and keep them in a separate bowl for later.
03 -
Combine cocoa powder, salt, flour, and baking soda in a bowl. Sift them together and leave aside.
04 -
Use a hand mixer to whip the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until nice and fluffy.
05 -
Add the eggs one at a time to the creamed mixture and pour in vanilla too. Mix until it's smooth.
06 -
Gradually stir the flour mix into the wet mixture. Keep going until you get an even dough.
07 -
Fold about half of the M&M's into the dough, distributing them evenly.
08 -
Roll the dough into balls about two inches wide, pressing the leftover M&M's on top of each one.
09 -
Pop the cookies in the oven for 9-11 minutes. Let them cool for a bit on the baking sheet, then move them to a rack to cool all the way.
10 -
Microwave the frosting for 15 seconds in a bowl to loosen it. Mix in the neon-green coloring until it looks just right.
11 -
Use a flavor injector to fill each cookie with frosting. Push it into the side of the cookie, and inject until cracks form on top.
