Spinach Ricotta Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 store-bought 9-inch crust

→ Filling

02 - 3 eggs, large
03 - 1 cup ricotta
04 - 2 cups chopped spinach, fresh
05 - 1 cup cream, heavy
06 - 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
07 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

→ Seasonings

08 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper, black
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
10 - 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
11 - 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, optional

→ Optional Garnish

12 - Freshly chopped herbs
13 - Diced tomatoes

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oil to sauté spinach until soft, or drain frozen spinach after thawing.
02 - Combine cream, ricotta, Parmesan, eggs, and spices together, then add the spinach.
03 - Spread the filling into the crust and finish with mozzarella on top.
04 - Bake at 375°F for 35-40 minutes until firm. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before cutting.

01 - You can use frozen spinach or fresh.
02 - Cool before slicing for cleaner cuts.
