Easy Spicy Ramen (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Noodles

01 - 1 pack (3 ounces) of plain instant ramen noodles, toss out the seasoning packet

→ Sauce & Aromatics

02 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
03 - ½ teaspoon brown sugar, more or less to your liking
04 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
05 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic
06 - 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
07 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion (for topping)
08 - 1 tablespoon minced white part of a green onion

# Instructions:

01 - In a pan, get some water boiling. Toss in the ramen and cook till it's firm but not hard. Forget about the seasoning packet!
02 - Keep 1/4 cup of that noodle water. Then, drain the noodles completely.
03 - Mix together brown sugar and soy sauce in a small bowl. Leave it aside for now.
04 - Warm up sesame oil in a pan. Throw in garlic and onion, sauté for about 60 seconds, and stir in chili flakes.
05 - Add the sauce mixture and reserved noodle water to the pan. Stir in the noodles gently. Sprinkle green onions on top, and you're good to eat!
