Garlic Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups plain flour (500g), separated.
02 - 2 packets instant yeast (4½ teaspoons).
03 - 1/4 cup white sugar (50g).
04 - 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh rosemary.
05 - 1 teaspoon coarse salt.
06 - 1½ cups heated whole milk (366g).
07 - 1 large egg at room temperature.
08 - 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted.
09 - 1 teaspoon freshly minced garlic.
10 - 1 teaspoon chopped parsley.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together 3 cups flour, sugar, yeast, salt, and rosemary.
02 - Pour in the warm milk and cracked egg. Knead for a couple of minutes. Slowly mix in the leftover flour. Work the dough until it pulls cleanly away from the sides.
03 - Move dough into a greased bowl, cover, and let it sit for 45 minutes. It should double in size.
04 - Push the air out, split the dough into 12 pieces, roll them into balls, and put them into a greased 9x13 pan. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
05 - Preheat oven to 375°F and bake rolls for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.
06 - Prepare garlic butter and brush it over the baked rolls while they're still warm.

# Notes:

01 - Warm milk should be 110-115°F.
02 - You can prepare this ahead of time.
03 - These freeze really well.
04 - Fresh herbs make all the difference.
