Set your oven to 175 °C to preheat.

Grease a 10 x 20 cm loaf pan and line it with parchment paper.

Use a fork to mash the bananas in a bowl, then mix in the melted butter.

Stir in the baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix everything thoroughly.

Pour in the flour and stir until smooth.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
