Slow cooker meatloaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons of salt
02 - 2 eggs
03 - 65 ml of brown sugar
04 - 226 g of skinless Italian sausage
05 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
06 - 3 peeled carrots, halved
07 - 190 ml of breadcrumbs
08 - 1 teaspoon of pepper
09 - 190 ml of ketchup
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
11 - 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
12 - 907 g of lean ground beef
13 - 1 large onion, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Lay the carrots at the bottom of your slow cooker.
02 - In a big bowl, mix the ground meat, sausage, onion, 190 ml of ketchup, breadcrumbs, eggs, half a teaspoon of garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir it all together until it's evenly combined.
03 - With your hands, mold the mixture into a loaf shape and set it on top of the carrots inside the slow cooker.
04 - Combine brown sugar, Dijon mustard, the rest of the ketchup, and the remaining garlic powder in the same bowl. Stir until smooth.
05 - Evenly spread the sauce all over the meatloaf.
06 - Pop the lid on the slow cooker and let it cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
07 - Before serving, make sure to drain any excess liquid.

# Notes:

01 - Be sure to carefully drain any leftover liquid after cooking so the meatloaf doesn’t get soggy.
