# Ingredients:

01 - 2 handfuls of fresh baby spinach.
02 - 1/4 cup fresh-grated parmesan cheese.
03 - 2 tablespoons regular butter.
04 - 3/4 pound cleaned shrimp, no shells or veins.
05 - 1/2 small onion, finely chopped.
06 - 2 large cloves of garlic, minced finely.
07 - 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth.
08 - 1/2 cup half-and-half cream or similar.
09 - 2 tablespoons plain flour.
10 - 1 teaspoon mixed Italian herbs.
11 - 1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
12 - 1/8 teaspoon chili flakes (optional).
13 - 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt (to taste).

# Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter in a pot over medium, cooking garlic and onion for about three minutes.
02 - Sprinkle in the flour, stirring while cooking for about a minute or two.
03 - Slowly pour in the chicken broth and half-and-half, mix well, then add the spices. Let it cook 3 to 4 minutes until thicker.
04 - Toss in the shrimp, spinach, and parmesan. Cook for around 4 minutes until the shrimp is ready and the spinach becomes tender.

# Notes:

01 - Taste and tweak salt levels based on your broth.
02 - Whole milk is a decent swap for half-and-half.
