Shrimp Scampi Ramsay (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined.
02 - A pinch of salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter.
04 - 3 tablespoons olive oil.
05 - 1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped.
06 - 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
07 - 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon of red chili flakes.
09 - 1/2 cup white wine.
10 - 1/4 cup chopped shallots.

# Instructions:

01 - Sprinkle the shrimp with some salt and pepper.
02 - In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons each of butter and oil. Sear shrimp for about 2 minutes per side till they're pink. Set them aside.
03 - Using the same pan, toss in the rest of the butter and oil. Sauté the garlic and shallots for a couple of minutes.
04 - Pour in the white wine, lemon juice, parsley, and chili flakes. Stir everything together.
05 - Bring it to a gentle boil and cook down for 2-3 minutes until it thickens a bit.
06 - Add the shrimp back to the pan, coat with the sauce, and heat for another 2 minutes.
