Pepperoni Pizza Roses (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 sheet of pizza dough
02 - Half a cup of pizza sauce

→ Toppings

03 - 1 cup shredded cheese
04 - Pepperoni slices, about ½ cup

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the pizza dough instructions to preheat the oven.
02 - Slice the pizza dough into long strips about 2 inches wide. Flatten them further to around 3 inches for quicker baking.
03 - Spread some sauce along part of each strip. Lay cheese on top, add overlapping slices of pepperoni, then layer with extra cheese.
04 - Fold the plain side of the strip over the toppings, then carefully roll the strip to give it a rose-like look.
05 - Set the little roses on a lined baking tray. You can flare out a few pepperoni slices for a decorative touch if you'd like.
06 - Bake on the oven's bottom shelf for 12-15 minutes, or until golden. If the pepperoni seems to brown too fast, you can lightly cover it with foil.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to throw in extra toppings before rolling the dough.
02 - Spice up the pizza sauce by adding your favorite seasonings or a splash of hot sauce.
03 - Serve this with some extra sauce or your favorite dips on the side.
04 - Let the roses cool down a bit before digging in to avoid burns.
