Pizza Burgers Fusion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Burger Patty

01 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
02 - 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
05 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano

→ Pizza Toppings

06 - Fresh basil leaves
07 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
08 - 4 slices mozzarella cheese
09 - 16 slices pepperoni

→ Assembly

10 - Optional toppings: black olives, jalapeños, sliced mushrooms
11 - 4 burger buns, toasted

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up your grill or grill pan over medium. Make sure it’s good and hot so you’ll get those amazing grill marks!
02 - Combine the beef with onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Divide and form into four burger patties, pressing a small dent into the middle of each so they stay flat on the grill.
03 - Throw the patties onto your hot grill. Let them sizzle for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on how well-done you like them (aim for 160°F for medium). About 60 seconds before they’re finished, lay a mozzarella slice on each patty. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese beautifully.
04 - Take the patties off the grill and layer them with a few pieces of pepperoni and a spoonful of pizza sauce. While doing this, toss your buns on the grill and toast them till lightly crispy.
05 - Place each cheesy, saucy patty on the bottom bun. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and any extras you like, then pop on the top bun. Serve them hot and enjoy!
