Heat up your grill or grill pan over medium. Make sure it’s good and hot so you’ll get those amazing grill marks!

Combine the beef with onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, and red pepper flakes in a mixing bowl. Divide and form into four burger patties, pressing a small dent into the middle of each so they stay flat on the grill.

Throw the patties onto your hot grill. Let them sizzle for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on how well-done you like them (aim for 160°F for medium). About 60 seconds before they’re finished, lay a mozzarella slice on each patty. Close the grill lid to melt the cheese beautifully.

Take the patties off the grill and layer them with a few pieces of pepperoni and a spoonful of pizza sauce. While doing this, toss your buns on the grill and toast them till lightly crispy.

Place each cheesy, saucy patty on the bottom bun. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and any extras you like, then pop on the top bun. Serve them hot and enjoy!
