Perfect Juicy Turkey (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 whole turkey (12-20 lbs), fully thawed.
02 - 1 green apple, cut in quarters.
03 - 1 small lemon, cut into slices.
04 - 1 medium onion, chopped in quarters.
05 - 3 garlic cloves, whole.
06 - 2 thyme sprigs.
07 - 2 rosemary sprigs.
08 - 1/2 cup of softened butter.
09 - 1 tsp salt.
10 - 1/2 tsp black pepper.
11 - 1 tbsp dried rosemary.
12 - 1 tbsp oregano (dried).
13 - 1 tbsp dried sage.
14 - 1 tbsp dried thyme.

# Instructions:

01 - Keep the turkey in the fridge for 3-7 days to thaw completely.
02 - Heat oven to 325°F. Take out giblets, pat turkey dry, and fold its wings under its body.
03 - Fill the inside of the bird with lemon, onion, apple, rosemary sprigs, garlic, and thyme.
04 - Combine butter with oregano, thyme, rosemary, sage, pepper, and salt until smooth.
05 - Spread herbed butter under the skin and all over the outside of the turkey. Tie the legs to secure.
06 - Set turkey, breast side facing up, into a roasting pan. Push thermometer into the thick breast area.
07 - Bake for 15 minutes per pound, waiting until the internal temp reaches 165°F.
08 - After removing, leave the bird for 20 minutes to relax before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - It takes 24 hours for every 4-5 pounds to defrost.
02 - Pop-up thermometers can be taken out beforehand.
03 - Meat is done when juices are clear.
