Seared Garlic Shrimp (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 12 jumbo shrimp or prawns, cleaned up.
02 - 100 g softened butter.
03 - 4 minced garlic cloves.
04 - A handful of fresh parsley, finely chopped.
05 - Juice from half a lemon.
06 - Salt and pepper to taste.
07 - A drizzle of olive oil.
08 - Lemon wedges for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Keep the shells and heads on while removing the back vein. This gives them extra flavor.
02 - In a bowl, blend the butter with the minced garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
03 - Lightly grease a pan or grill and preheat it over medium-high heat.
04 - Generously brush the shrimp with the garlicky butter mix. Cook each side for about 3–4 minutes until they’re juicy and golden.
05 - Put the shrimp on a serving plate, pour the remaining melted butter over them, and add lemon wedges on the side.

# Notes:

01 - You can use either a grill or a skillet for this dish.
02 - The flavored butter can be made ahead of time.
