Candy Cane Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 25 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed.
02 - 5 tablespoons butter, melted.
03 - 8 oz cream cheese, at room temp.
04 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted.
05 - A few drops of red coloring.
06 - 1 teaspoon peppermint flavoring.
07 - 2 containers whipped topping, thawed.
08 - 3/4 cup peppermint candies, smashed.

# Instructions:

01 - Use a processor or rolling pin to crush cookies. Combine with melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate and refrigerate.
02 - Blend powdered sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add drops of red color until you like the shade.
03 - Gently fold in one tub of whipped topping and 1/2 cup of crushed peppermint candies.
04 - Spoon the mix into the cookie crust. Spread the second whipped topping tub on top, and sprinkle remaining peppermint bits.
05 - Pop it in the fridge for at least an hour before serving.

# Notes:

01 - No need to use the oven.
02 - Chilling is a must before eating.
