Mushroom Creamy Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of heavy cream.
02 - Flour to coat the chicken.
03 - A pinch of salt and pepper.
04 - 2 tablespoons butter.
05 - 3 minced cloves of garlic.
06 - A splash of lemon juice (1/2 tsp).
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard.
08 - Italian seasoning, about 1/4 teaspoon.
09 - 12 ounces of sliced mushrooms (use white or cremini).
10 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
11 - 2 large chicken breasts, cut in half.
12 - 1/2 cup of chicken stock.

# Instructions:

01 - Slice chicken breasts horizontally to make four cutlets. Sprinkle on some salt and pepper, then dust generously with flour.
02 - Heat olive oil in a pan on medium-high. Cook chicken 4 minutes on each side until brown, then set aside.
03 - Melt butter in the same pan. Stir in mushrooms and Italian seasoning and cook until they’re browned and water is gone. Remove them from the pan.
04 - Stir garlic into the pan, followed by the broth, mustard, and lemon juice. Let it reduce to half, then mix in the cream.
05 - Put mushrooms and chicken back in the sauce. Let it simmer 5 minutes until chicken’s cooked through and sauce is creamy.

# Notes:

01 - You'll be done in just 30 minutes.
02 - Substitute with half-and-half if you want a thinner sauce.
03 - Tastes best right after cooking.
