Roughly cut the apricots and prunes, then mix them with raisins and almonds.

Combine the flour, spices, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add the eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla while stirring until smooth.

Gently fold the nut-and-fruit mix into the batter.

Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin. Bake for 45–50 minutes at 180°C. It's ready when a knife slides out clean.

Cool completely in the mold before taking it out. Tastes even better the next day.
