Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to preheat, and lightly grease a mini muffin tray.

In a big bowl, stir together the salt, flour, sugar, baking powder, and cornmeal with a whisk.

Take another bowl and blend the eggs, honey, buttermilk, and melted butter. Pour this mix into the dry ingredients and gently combine until it all comes together.

Scoop the batter into the slots of the mini muffin tray, leaving a little space at the top of each. Cook for 12-15 minutes, or until they turn golden and a toothpick comes out clean from the middle.

Blend the honey and melted butter in a small bowl. Use a brush to coat the warm poppers with the glaze.
