01 - Grab two slices of bread, layer ham and cheese in between them.

01 - Can you prep in advance? You can put the sandwiches together beforehand, but don’t cook them early. Wait to toast until serving for that crisp texture.
02 - What cheese works best? Emmental and Swiss melt beautifully. Comté adds deeper flavor.
