Set your oven to 175°C to get it preheated.

Combine the ground beef, eggs, seasonings, and breadcrumbs in a big bowl.

Cover a loaf pan with parchment paper.

Arrange most of the bacon strips at the base of the pan, leaving the ends hanging over the sides.

Press most of the meat mix into the pan, make a trench down the middle, fill it with mozzarella, and cover with the leftover meat.

Use the rest of the bacon strips to wrap over the meatloaf.

Pour a bit of the BBQ sauce, about a third, over the top and pop it in the oven for 40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, coat it with another third of the BBQ sauce, and let it bake for 20 more minutes.

Spread the rest of the BBQ sauce over the loaf before pulling it out of the oven.

Serve it hot and dig in!
