Toss the baby carrots into the crockpot.

Sprinkle with salt, sugar, and cinnamon. Give a gentle stir.

Drizzle on the syrup and stir again to coat evenly.

Scatter pieces of butter over the mix. Close the lid.

Set to high and leave for 3 hours, or go low for 5-6 hours. Stir now and then.

Take the lid off for the last half hour and switch to high heat to make the sauce thicker.

Move the carrots to a big bowl. Simmer the sauce in a pan for 5 minutes till thicker, then pour back on.
