→ Garnishes

21 - 10 strawberries, halved
22 - 10 limes, cut into 40 small wedges
23 - 1 cup granulated sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 275°F (140°C) for fan-forced or 320°F (160°C) for standard. Prep two cupcake trays by adding liners.
02 - Grab a big bowl and blend together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Toss in the softened butter and continue mixing until it's crumbly.
03 - In another bowl, combine eggs, milk, yogurt, oil, vanilla, and tequila (if you're using it). Stir until it's smooth.
04 - Divide the batter into two. Add strawberry flavor and pink/red color to one, and mango flavor with yellow color to the other. Stir both until the colors look even.
05 - Spoon the batters alternately into the lined cupcake trays. Only fill them about two-thirds full.
06 - Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Check if they're done by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean. Let them cool on a wire rack.
07 - Make the buttercream and split it evenly. Mix strawberry flavor and pink/red color into one, and mango flavor with yellow color into the other.
08 - Lightly wet the tops of the cupcakes and roll them in granulated sugar to mimic a fancy rim.
09 - Using a piping bag with a decorative nozzle, alternate coils of both frostings on top of each cupcake.
10 - Place a lime wedge and a strawberry piece on each cupcake for a fun, margarita-inspired look.

# Notes:

01 - Leave out the tequila for a non-alcoholic option—no other changes required.
02 - Prepare the cupcakes a day earlier and keep them airtight if you're decorating later.
