Set your oven to 180°C and let it heat up while you get the batter prepared.

Grab a large bowl and toss in the flour, baking powder, eggs, cream, and liquid vanilla. Whisk everything until the mixture feels smooth and well-blended.

Take the batter and divide it into two bowls. Add the melted dark chocolate into one bowl. In the second bowl, stir in the chocolate chips but save a few for topping later.

Line a baking pan with parchment. Pour the chocolate batter in first, then spread the one with chocolate chips on top. Scatter the remaining chips over the surface.

Pop the pan into the oven and bake for about 45 minutes. A knife inserted should come out clean or with tiny crumbs. Let it cool, then slice and serve.
