Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat it.

In a big pan, cook beef with onions until no pink remains, then drain the grease.

Add the taco mix and refried beans to the beef and stir everything until heated and blended.

Mix the mushroom soup with the sour cream in a bowl until no lumps are left.

Spread half of the soup blend across the bottom of your casserole dish.

Lay tortillas over the soup, tearing to fit as needed.

Spoon half of the meat mix over the tortillas, then sprinkle about 1 cup of cheese on top.

Repeat all the layers, ending by covering the dish with the last of the cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted completely and bubbly along the edges.
