Quick Kouign-Amann (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 sheet of puff pastry
02 - 100 g of brown sugar
03 - 100 g of salted butter
04 - Flour – to dust your countertop

→ Optional Toppings

05 - Egg yolk – for a golden finish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven on to 200°C and roll out the pastry on a surface that’s lightly coated in flour.
02 - Spread softened butter across the pastry and sprinkle almost all of the sugar evenly on top.
03 - Bring each side of the pastry toward the center, folding it to create a sealed rectangular shape.
04 - Roll the whole sheet of pastry into a log shape.
05 - Slice the log into 6 pieces that are roughly the same size.
06 - Put the slices into a silicone muffin tray. Sprinkle the rest of the sugar over them, and brush with egg yolk for color if you want.
07 - Pop them in the oven for 30 minutes. Let them cool a little before enjoying.
